How to add PayPal "Buy Now" button to your Create website

You can easily add a PayPal "Buy Now" button to your Create website. Please be aware that you do not need to create "Buy Now" buttons if you are using the Create shop as our software will create these automatically for you on your products.

To create "Buy Now" buttons follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to your Create account
  2. Click on "Content" on the top menu
  3. Click on "Widgets" on the left-hand menu
  4. Click on the "Add Widgets" link
  5. Select the "PayPal BuyNow" Widget.
  6. Customise the Widget to your requirements.
(Please remember to re-name your "Widget Name" field at the top here too, so it easy to find later).
  7. "Save" your changes

Once you have created your new PayPal Buy Now button you will need to insert it where you want it to appear. To insert it into your content please do the following:

  1. Log into your Create account

  2. Click "Content" on the top menu

  3. Click the "Edit This Page" icon (the pencil) next to the page you would like to edit

  4. Click the "Add Block" button in the bottom left-hand corner

  5. From the drop-down menu, select "Custom"

6. You can then drag and drop the Custom Element content block onto the desired place on the page.

Once the Custom Element block has been added to the page, you can click the + icon and use the drop-down menu to select what content you would like to add to the page.

You’ll see you can select content including Widgets, HTML Fragments and Custom Forms, as well as combinations of other blocks such as Buttons, Headers, Images, Videos, Maps and Text.

A placeholder icon will be added to the page and if you click the Settings icon, you can specify exactly which widget or HTML fragment for example, that you would like to use. Click Done and then save your changes.

A grey holding box will appear in the Editor and you will need to re-publish your website for the changes to take effect on your live site.
