What Is Recommend A Friend?
Do you love Create and know someone else that would too? You can now earn money off you and your friend’s subscription, purely by recommending them!
Our Recommend a Friend discount allows you to offer 10% off your friend’s new website, whilst also receiving money off your next subscription payment. The best news is that there is no limit to how many people you can recommend - The more friends you sign up, the more money off for you!
How To Get Started
To start being able to take advantage of Recommend a Friend, you’ll first need to acquire your unique discount code. If you log into your Create account and access the Home Dashboard, at the bottom of the screen you should see the Recommend a Friend banner. Clicking Find out more will display your unique discount code.
If you make sure that your friends use your discount code when they subscribe, they’ll receive 10% off their first payment. Depending on whether they subscribe on a monthly or yearly basis, you’ll then receive either £5 or £10 off your next payment after a 28 day period.
If more than one friend subscribes, you’ll get the combined discount amount off your next payment - there’s no limit to how much this can be.

When will I receive my discount?
Once we receive notification that your discount code has been used, we will apply your discount to your next payment after a 28 day period following the new subscription.
Does my discount code expire?
Your discount code does not expire, but if you would like us to cancel it, just let your Account Manager know and we can remove your code.
How much money will I get off my subscription?
If your friend subscribes on a monthly basis, you will receive £5 off your next payment. If your friend subscribes on a yearly basis, you’ll receive a £10 discount.
What if I have more than one Create account?
A discount code will be generated for each individual Create account, so if you have more than one account with us, you'll have a unique discount code per account, giving you the opportunity to receive discounts on each account.
How will I know when a friend subscribes?
Once we receive notification that your discount code has been used, we will email you straight away to let you know and also when you can expect to receive your discount.
My friend subscribed and I haven’t been contacted
If you are certain that your friend has subscribed and you have not heard from us, send your Account Manager an email straight away and we’ll be able to look into this for you.
We’d recommend adding your discount code and your friend’s username in this email so that we can look into this as efficiently as possible.
Is there a limit to how many people I can recommend?
There’s no limit to how many people you can recommend! The more friends that sign up using your discount code, the more money that you will receive off your own subscription.
Can discounts be applied retrospectively?
We can only apply discounts to current subscriptions if your discount code has clearly been used by a new subscriber. If you’ve recommended people prior to being provided with your personal discount code, we’re unfortunately unable to offer you a discount on your subscription.
Terms & Conditions
The Recommend A Friend scheme is open to any customer with an active, paid-up website plan.
The Recommend A Friend scheme entitles the eligible customer to an exclusive discount code, which they can access from their Create Dashboard.
When a “Recommend A Friend” discount code is used, the referred new customer will receive a 10% discount off their first website plan payment (paid either monthly or annually).
Every time a “Recommend A Friend” discount is used, the referring customer will receive account credit towards their next website plan payment. This account credit will be £5 off if the referral has paid monthly, and £10 off if the referral has paid annually.
There is a 28-day waiting period before account credit is applied. If the referred customer cancels or the payment made is refunded within this time, no account credit will be applied.
There is no limit on how many times one discount code can be used.
The discount code can be used for any number of newly referred customers, and if used for multiple new subscriptions, the referring account will receive an accumulative account credit.
If the total discount amount exceeds that of the next payment, the remaining amount will be deducted from the following payment.
Discount codes and Account Credit have no monetary value, are non-transferable and can only be applied to payments on the website plan of the referring customer.
Special offers or other discount codes are not valid in conjunction with this offer.
