How much does it cost to use Create Payments?

Create Payments is the easiest way to accept payments through your shop, but did you know it's also one of the most cost effective too?

This fully-integrated service offers competitive rates, no sign up or monthly fees and an enhanced shopper experience for your customers - read all about this facillity in our help guide "What Is Create Payments".

How much does it cost to join Create Payments?

Nothing! It is completely free to sign up to Create Payments. That means no matter the outcome, you will never be charged to sign up for Create Payments.

What are the transaction fees?

The transaction fees are set at a fixed 2.4%.

Is there an annual/monthly fee?

Nope, Create Payments really costs nothing. :-)

Are there any additional fees?

All merchants selling online are required by law to assert their PCI compliance. As Create Payments is powered by Worldpay, they provide a service, "SaferPayments", to assist in ensuring that you have a mechanism to validate your PCI compliance. SaferPayments is offered at a low cost annual fee of £29.99 (+VAT) for all Create Payments customers and is entirely optional.

If you do not wish to join the SaferPayments programme and would rather handle your PCI compliance yourself, that's no problem. Becoming PCI DSS compliant is free, but can be tricky so if you use an external provider they can charge for their services too.

You will have up 60 days to provide the SaferPayments team with your PCI certificate and assert your compliance. If after 60 days you have not done so, you will be chagred £9.99 (+VAT) a month by Worldpay to cover the increased risk. After 12 months this fee increases to £12.99 (+VAT), so best to submit your certificate as soon as possible.
