Christmas Last Posting Dates 2024 - Royal Mail

Be prepared for the Christmas rush this year, and make sure your customers know when your last ordering and shipping dates are.

To help you on your way we've compiled a handy guide to Royal Mail's last posting dates for 2024 to ensure your customers get their deliveries before Christmas.

UK Inland Services

• Wednesday 18th December - 2nd Class, 2nd Class Signed For

• Friday 20th December -  1st Class, 1st Class Signed For, Royal Mail Tracked 48®**

• Saturday 21st December - Royal Mail Tracked 24®**

• Monday 23rd December - Special Delivery Guaranteed® (Guaranteed Saturday delivery for an extra fee)

**Please note that Royal Mail Tracked 24® and Royal Mail Tracked 48® are not available to purchase at Post Office® branches.

International HM Forces Mail

• Wednesday 27th November - Operational HM Forces

• Wednesday 4th December - Static HM Forces

International Standard (Untracked)

If you are purchasing your postage at the Post Office and not online, it is recommended that your last posting date will be one day sooner than the below listed dates. 

• Tuesday 3rd December - Africa, Asia, Australia, Caribbean, Central and South America, China (People’s Republic), Far and Middle East and New Zealand

• Wednesday 4th December - Cyprus, Malta, Portugal and Spain

• Thursday 5th December - Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Eastern Europe (except Czech Republic and Poland), France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey

• Friday 6th December - Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Poland, Sweden and USA

International Tracking and Signature services

If you are purchasing your postage at the Post Office and not online, it is recommended that your last posting date will be five days sooner than the below listed dates. 

• Saturday 7th December - Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Israel, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Romania and Sweden

• Monday 2nd December - Cyprus, Eastern Europe, Greece, Iceland, Malta, Turkey and Western Europe
