This information is used for validating the domain data, so when you purchase a domain, it is important to correctly identify your registrant type.

Registrant type is a required field when purchasing a domain through Create. This ensures that this information is captured.

Below are the available registrant types.

Note that there are different registrant types available based on your location - UK and non-UK.

Companies operating in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man are classified as Non-UK for the purposes of domain registrant type.
