Blog > Offer Your Customers More Ways to Pay
Posted By Create

We’ve recently launched an exciting new upgrade to the PayPal checkout options available for Create ecommerce stores. This update gives you even more flexibility and control over how your customers complete their purchases.
Whether you're looking to boost conversions, offer greater convenience, or simply take advantage of PayPal’s trusted brand, this update brings powerful new tools to your online store. All without needing to lift a finger on the technical side.
What’s New with the PayPal Checkout?
The new PayPal checkout experience brings a faster, more seamless payment process with even more ways for your customers to pay:
Apple Pay & Google Pay are now included as options alongside the standard PayPal wallet.
Customers can pay using a wider range of credit and debit card types.
PayPal Pay in 3* remains available — a popular Buy Now, Pay Later option that lets customers pay in instalments, while you get paid upfront
and in full at no extra cost to you.
No matter the payment type chosen by your customer, the funds are credited immediately to your PayPal account while being processed behind the scenes.
All of this is delivered via a smooth, secure interface that’s optimised for desktop and mobile checkouts alike.

Why Upgrade? The Benefits for Your Business
Adding more flexible checkout options can make a big difference to your bottom line — and PayPal’s latest data shows just how much impact it can have:
PayPal can help small and medium-sized businesses increase checkout conversion by up to 62%¹.
Orders paid using Pay in 3 have an average order value (AOV) that’s 60% higher than standard PayPal checkouts².
An average of 90% of Pay in 3 customers in the
UK are repeat³ — offering loyal, repeat customers more of what they love.
What Do I Need to Do?
To start using the new PayPal checkout, all you need to do is reconnect your PayPal account in your Create dashboard. Once you’ve done this, you can choose which options (like Apple Pay or PayPal Pay in 3) you’d like to enable.
We’ve handled the technical integration for you, so there’s no code or setup required — just reconnect and configure your preferences.
💡 You may need to apply directly with PayPal to access certain features such as credit and debit card payments, and Pay in 3, depending on your account type.
