Christmas Last Posting Dates 2025 - Royal Mail

Be prepared for the Christmas rush this year, and make sure your customers know when your last ordering and shipping dates are.

To help you on your way we've compiled a handy guide to Royal Mail's last posting dates for 2024 to ensure your customers get their deliveries before Christmas.

• Wednesday 17th December - Royal Mail 2nd Class and 2nd Class Signed For

• Friday 19th December - Royal Mail 1st Class and 1st Class Signed For

• Tuesday 23rd December - Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed

• Monday 22nd December - Royal Mail Tracked 24

• Saturday 20th December - Royal Mail Tracked 48

• Wednesday 26th November - Operational HM Forces

• Wednesday 3rd December - Static HM Forces

If you are purchasing your postage at the Post Office and not online, it is recommended that your last posting date will be one day sooner than the below listed dates. 

• Tuesday 2nd December - Africa, Asia, Australia, Caribbean, Central and South America, China (People’s Republic), Far and Middle East and New Zealand
  

• Wednesday 3rd December - Cyprus, Malta, Portugal and Spain
  

• Thursday 4th December - Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Eastern Europe (except Czech Republic and Poland), France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey
  

• Friday 5th December - Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Poland, Sweden and USA

   

If you are purchasing your postage at the Post Office and not online, it is recommended that your last posting date will be five days sooner than the below listed dates. 

• Saturday 6th December - Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Israel, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Romania and Sweden

• Monday 8th December - Czech Republic, Malaysia, New Zealand, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey and United Arab Emirates (UAE)

• Wednesday 10th December - Austria, Denmark, India, Lithuania, Philippines, Qatar, Slovakia and Slovenia

• Friday 12th December - Belgium, Canada, China (People’s Republic), Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, South Korea, Thailand and USA

• Monday 15th December - France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Switzerland and Taiwan

• Wednesday 9th October - All non-European destinations (except South Africa, Canada, Middle and Far East, USA)

• Monday 21st October - Hong Kong, Middle and Far East, Singapore and South Africa

• Wednesday 6th November - Canada and USA

• Monday 2nd December - Cyprus, Eastern Europe, Greece, Iceland, Malta, Turkey and Western Europe
