Our Audio Player widget is a really handy tool to be able to embed small audio files, without the need to use a third-party provider to host your audio files.

Uploading your audio file to your Create account

First of all, you'll need to upload your audio file in your Create account. You can do that by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Create account

  2. Select Content on the Top Menu

  3. Click Files in the left-hand menu

  4. Click the Add File button in the top right-hand corner.

You'll then be able to browse your computer for the file that you'd like to upload.

Creating the Audio Player widget

Once you have your audio file uploaded, before creating the widget, you'll need to save the file's URL.

Still in the Files area, if you click the little link icon shown in the screenshot below, it will display the URL for the file that you can save.

Once copied, you can follow the below steps to create your Audio Player widget:

  1. Select Content on the Top Menu

  2. Click Integrations from the left-hand menu

  3. Click the Add Integration button, located in the top-right of this area

  4. A grid of different Integrations will be displayed, click the Audio Player option

  1. A panel will open on the left-hand side. You can give your Audio Player a name in the Description box, then you can paste your file's URL into the Audio File URL box

  2. Click Save Changes to save your Audio Player widget.

Adding the Audio Player to a Page Using Custom Blocks

  1. Click Content on the top menu

  2. Click Edit This Page (the pencil icon) next to the page you would like to edit. Click the +Add Block button

  3. From the Add Block filters, select the Custom filter in the Blocks that include... category

  4. A range of different custom blocks will be displayed

  1. Drag and drop the Custom Element content block onto the desired place on the page

  2. Once the Custom Element block has been added to the page, you can click the Add Element button and a range of content types will be listed. Select Integration from the list

  1. A list of any Integrations you have added will appear and you'll be able to select your newly create Audio Player widget from the list. It should display with the Description that you added previously.

  2. After selecting the Integration click Done and it will be added to the page as a placeholder.


You can now preview and/or publish your site to see your Audio Player working on your site.
