How do I show my shop categories as a drop-down menu from my shop page?
Providing customers with multiple ways to access your shop products is always a good idea. One way to do this is by adding your shop categories as a drop-down on your main menu.
To set up your categories to appear in a drop-down menu please follow the steps below :
- Log in to your Create account.
- Select “Content” from the top menu.
- Select “Page Settings” (centre icon) next to your "Shop" page.
- Set the "Show Categories in a drop-down Sub-Menu:" option to "Yes".
- Select “Save changes”.
Your categories should now appear as a drop-down underneath your "Shop" menu item.
If your categories are showing in your main menu along with your other pages and also appearing in your drop-down menu, you can remove them from your main menu by following the steps below:
- Log in to your Create account.
- Click "Shop" from the top menu.
- Select "Settings" from the left-hand menu.
- Click on "General Configuration" and then click the "Categories" tab.
- You will then need to set the "Show Shop Categories on Main Menu:" to "Do Not Display".
- Click "Save Changes".
