How to password protect a page or section of a site

There may be instance when you wish to make a part of your site private - for instance, if you've got a member's only area. You can do this by password protecting these pages.

First you must create the username(s) and password(s) that people will use to login to any pages that you password protect. You can then Password Protect a page or section of your site.

To do this please follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to your "Content" screen
  2. Select "Website Users" from the left-hand menu and select "Accounts".
  3. Once you have your users set up you go into the "Page Settings" screen for the page you want to protect from the "Content" screen.
  4. Click on the tab titled "Security"
  5. Set the drop-down titled "Password Protected" to "YES"
  6. Click 'Save Changes' to confirm
