Create Design Service Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern the Design Service in which Create Internet Ltd undertake on your behalf. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before agreeing for the Design Service to commence.

Definitions

‘Design Service’ or ‘Service’ -  references the work carried out by Create in order to complete the agreed upon website specification

‘Us’ or ‘We’ - Create as a company

 

Cost of Service

The cost of work is calculated on a per hour basis (including VAT) and an initial quote will be provided for the estimated cost of work prior to the work beginning.

The total quoted cost of the Service will be based upon the required specification of the website which will be outlined at the time of quotation. Any changes to the required specification made after the initial quotation will impact the Service and thus the quote given may be subject to additional charges. Confirmation prior to the Service will be gathered to establish when the work will occur and an estimated completion date.  

The total amount due for the Service will be debited in two payments. The first payment will be debited upon email confirmation and the value will be for half of the total amount quoted for the work.

Please note, by confirming for the initial payment to be debited from your account, you indicate your agreement to these Terms. By agreeing to these terms, you authorise us to undertake the Service on your behalf within your Create account.

The second payment will be debited, following email confirmation, upon completion of the work and will be for the outstanding amount.

In certain circumstances, a greater amount of time may be required to complete the Service than what was initially quoted. Any changes to the initial quote will be communicated via email and confirmation from yourself will be gained before the Service continues. An adjusted quote will be provided detailing the changes to the overall cost of the Service. If no agreement is made in relation to the additional amount, the Service will be continued to the specification of the first quote that was made, as per the initial communication.

 

Refunds & Cancellations

You can request for the Service to be cancelled, for whatever reason, within 24 hours of the first payment being made and a full refund will be actioned.

If you decide that you no longer want to continue with the Service after the initial 24 hour period, a pro-rata refund will be actioned based on the amount of time already attributed to the Service. If the amount of time is greater than the value of the initial payment, the owed amount will be debited from your account and the remainder of the Service will not be completed.

 

Changes During Service

Any changes to your content by you whilst the Service is undergoing, may impact the Service provided and we will take no responsibility if the changes made affect the Service that was initially quoted or the end result of the Service. After completion, if you are unhappy with the outcome of the Service for any reason, we will work with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the end result, ensuring a solution is found.

 

Post Completion of Service

An optional, one-time, follow-up call is included in the Service which is provided to answer any additional questions you have regarding the work that was carried out. This follow-up call is available once the second payment has been made and will be scheduled, via email, during opening hours at a time of your choosing, pending availability. 

Once the Service has been completed, we will play no part in the upkeep of any content created during the Service and any changes or maintenance of the newly created content will be solely your responsibility.
