What browsers does Create support?

browsers.jpg

A browser is a program on your computer that you primarily use to view websites and use web applications on.

You are reading this article on your browser now! You are probably doing so from one of the main five major browsers which are:

  • Internet Explorer
  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Edge

What browsers do you support?

For both your Create account and websites, we aim to support all modern versions of the most popular browsers.

At present we support the following browsers and all versions above:

Create websites will fully function and look great on the latest versions of all the major mobile browsers. However, currently editing your Create website is not supported on mobile browsers. Therefore you will need to access your Create account from a desktop or laptop that has a full browser to make changes to your website.

Please note that Beta versions of browsers will not be supported until they become fully released.

Where can I download these browsers?

Your computer will already have a browser installed on it, but if you would like to try out a different browser you can download one from the links below:

Safari comes pre-installed on all Mac computer's operating systems. It is no longer supported on Windows computers.

How can I tell what browser and version I have already?

You can use this handy online tool "What Browser" to see what browser and version you are currently running.

You will see your browser and version on the top left of you screen!

What does 'supported browsers' mean?

We will continue to maintain and fix any issues that occur on supported browsers. Older versions of browsers will still work, but there may be issues as they use older technologies that do not suit modern web design.

We specifically review the support we offer to browsers to ensure we are vastly compatible across the most popular browsers people are browsing Create websites with.

If you have any questions about browser support at all, please do not hesitate to contact your Account Manager and we will be happy to help!
