Global Iris: the new payment gateway provider offered by Global Payments Inc, who are one of the UK's largest card processing providers. It offers a quick and convenient way for customers to pay online, with its CNP (Card Not Present) payment options online, over the phone or via mail order.
In this guide we will be looking at how to set up Global Iris in your Create account, their charges of use and accepted card payments.
How to set up Global Iris in your Create account
If you are a new customer, or an existing HSBC or Realex user and wish to set up your Create shop with Global Iris, you will need to call the Global Iris support centre on 0845 702 3344. They should then be able to set you up with an account and supply you with the necessary details to set up the payment gateway with your shop.
Once your are all set up, you will be able to configure the payment gateway with your Create online shop.
To do this please follow the steps below:

Please note: When setting up Global Iris you will need to download the template file provided and copy the following URLs provided, emailing the both to Global Iris at email@example.com.
Callback / Response URL: https://login.create.net/callback/globaliris.php
Referring URL: http://www.yourdomainname.co.uk/shop/checkout_process.php
This will ensure your Global Iris payment pages are styled to reflect your current Create website.
Here you can download your template and see your callback and referring URL.
Once this has all been configured your customers should be able to start paying for purchases using Global Iris through your Create online shop.

The Global Iris Virtual Terminal allows you to accept credit and debit card payments over the telephone or mail order, as long as you have an internet connection. It allows you to enter the card details and order information, and authorise the card for payment.
