Hi Robert, thanks for taking the time to talk to us! Let’s kick things off, tell us a little bit about yourself and your business?



I started Angel Books in 2013 when I realised that there were not enough good quality tools to support small online businesses.
 It was founded to provide a small business with tools to help them run more efficiently and productively.


How did you start out?


I worked with my niece, and together we created a back-office system that, complements the functionality provided by Create, and adds various services including accounting and stock control support.


What are the key features of the Angel Books service?


Angel Books integrates seemlessly with Create and provides VAT, accounting, reporting and sophisticated stock control management capabilities.

At the touch of a button, all your orders from your Create website can be imported into Angel Books and the invoices with customer's addresses and order details are automatically created for you.

The system also automatically calculates the cost of the goods for you and deducts them from your stock once you click dispatch. It even emails the customer to let them know their order has been dispatched.


The service that Create offers is very complimentary to the Angel Books system. When they are integrated it makes a very useful and compelling package to small online businesses.


Sounds great! Why would you say small business owners should use Angel Books?


Angel Books is there to help you run your business, and offers two important back-office functions. Firstly, accounting, so you can control the costs of your business and see the profits you are making as well as making normally labour intensive jobs like entering your VAT return  easy and stress free.

Secondly, stock control, so you know the costs of the goods you sell and also know when to make stock purchases. It keeps control of stock, both of the products you sell but also the products and raw materials you buy.


Angel Books imports your product listing and sales and uses this information to populate your accounts, assess your VAT liability and adjust stock levels. Using the service allows a small business to control costs, price goods sold and also determine your most profitable products.

What do businesses need to do to use Angel Books with their Create website?


Simply follow the instructions on the Create website to obtain access token, and then follow the instructions on the Angel Books website to complete the integration process. The process is very straightforward.and has been designed to be as user-friendly and stress free as possible.



Can business owners try Angel Books first?


Yes, there is a 30 day trial period but this can be extended if required. When you are ready to sign up, it costs 
£9.99 per month
.
