The needs of an online business continue to grow, and with a wealth of data to manage and use, costs can skyrocket - but not with Create. Launching today, the Create API offers easy integration between websites and third party Apps, and it’s free!

The new opportunity can help businesses expand beyond their website, and even automate tedious tasks with just a few clicks. Read all about the new development and get connected with Create today.

At Create our mission is to make building websites and online shops easy. This doesn’t stop with design – we want to help customers manage their business efficiently, grow and achieve success.

An "Application Programming Interface" (API) makes it easy for Apps to work with data - it's essentially a set of standards and instructions that enables Apps to ‘talk’ to one another. Third party Apps, for example accounting packages, Epos systems or drop shippers, can now automatically send and receive data from Create.

The simple, real-time connections via the API mean business owners can reduce the time and cost involved in running their business, and concentrate their efforts elsewhere. Create users can work with developers or other Apps to connect their site and streamline tasks with ease.

Connecting with Create couldn’t be simpler! Create users will be able to generate their own unique ‘API Key’ for authentication purposes with the third party Apps, and get started right away.

As is the nature of the web, applications continue to change, improve and evolve.

In order to maintain the API connection with Create, we expect App developers to be responsible for adhering to our documentation and commit to delivering a high level of security, reliability, functionality and performance.

Public Apps must be verified by our development team to ensure integrity, so be assured any Apps publicly accessible will have gone through our approval process before being available to Create users.

This launch marks another exciting release from the Create developers, and this is just the beginning for the API. Our team will continue working to increase functionality, enhance usability and discuss feedback. Keep an eye out for future developments and customer showcases coming soon.

Are you a developer interested in using the Create API? Read our documentation to learn how it works or get in touch via our website at any time.

We are looking forward to seeing the amazing ways you use the API – share your experiences via social media with #CreateAPI and you could be featured on our Create partner’s page!
