About MonsterPay
Allows you to accept real-time, secure credit card and debit card payments in U.S. Dollar, Euro, Pound and Rand.
There are no set-up or subscription fees and charges are based on transactions only.
How to Set up MonsterPay with your shop
To use MonsterPay as your preferred Payment Gateway Provider, you will first need to sign up for an account at MonsterPay.com
When you have signed up, make sure to note your 'Merchant Identifier' which can be found at the top right corner of your MonsterPay account.
Please follow these instructions to add the gateway to your checkout:
- Log in to your Create account and go to the 'Shop' screen
- In the left-hand menu, click 'Shop Settings' and then 'Payment Gateways'
- From the drop-down menu 'Add Payment Gateway', choose 'MonsterPay' and click 'Add'
- Add your MonsterPay Merchant Identifier, Username and Password into the relevant fields and choose your preferred 'Payment Button'
- Click 'Save Changes' to confirm
You will now need to set up your MonsterPay account to link to your Create checkout:
- Go to https://www.MonsterPay.com/useradmin/ and login to your MonsterPay account
- Select 'My Account' from the top navigation bar
- Select 'Profile' from the sub-navigation bar
- Select 'Website Payment Preferences' from the menu below 'Selling Preferences'
- Switch 'Auto-Redirect' to 'ON'
- Enter 'http://www.DOMAINNAME/our_shop.html for the 'Redirect URL'
- Switch 'Auto-Post' to 'ON'
- Enter 'http://www.DOMAINNAME/shop/return.phtml?gateway=monsterpay for the 'Post URL'
- Click 'Save' to save your changes
Your checkout is now set up to accept payments through MonsterPay.
