Last weekend Create took a chunk of Brighton's Silicon Beach to Silicon Roundabout at the Silicon Milkroundabout recruitment event in Shoreditch.

The theme of this year's event was 'pirates' (the nautical kind, obviously) so we naturally took along a branded beach hut, a windbreaker, a buoy, a deckchair and loads of everyone's favourite seafront teeth-destroyer, Brighton rock, in our company colours.

The purpose-built stand (made in-house by our incredible design team) fit in nicely among the unseasonal palm trees that covered East London's Old Truman Brewery venue.

We like to drag ourselves out of the office every once in a while, and so when the weather was recently decidedly reasonable we set off to Hawthbush Farm in East Sussex for a lovely team-building day in the sun.
