The New Site Content Screen

Never one to wear last year's fashions, your Site Content Screen will from today be bedecked in a sleek new look to please the eye - and beneath its smooth veneer beats a pulsing heart of extra functionality!

Included in the update:

  • Pages that aren't shown on your Main Menu have been released from their cage at the bottom of the screen, and now you can reorder them on the Page List.
  • You'll recognise these by their new, greyed out appearance. (Note that moving pages that aren't shown on your Main Menu doesn't affect where they are on your website, it just makes managing your website through this screen even easier.)
  • When you drag a page to a different position, a grey ‘Drop Zone’ with a dotted border appears. This shows you where the page will be repositioned when you release the mouse button.

The improved Site Content Screen also enables us to build brilliant new features which will be introduced to Create in the future, such as Drop-Down Menus. If you haven’t already joined the Drop-Down Menus BETA to try out this forthcoming feature, you can do so by visiting the forum thread.

Read more about the Site Content Screen and how it works by reading our article 'How To Use The Site Content Screen'.

We hope you like the improvements and we look forward to hearing what you think about your New Site Content Screen!

Like the look of it, unfortunately there is no indication via wording as to which page is which, as they are all now blank!

Hi Wendy,

Apologies this was a glitch which was fixed first thing on Thursday when another customer bought this to our attention.

You should now see the page titles which were blank before :)

Best wishes

Rebecca
