What better way to celebrate the Queen's speech than by releasing a template by the people, for the people, called Populus?

While we were asking for feedback on our last new template, Ulysses, we thought we'd see what sort of things you'd like to see in the next one. We took your feedback and made Populus, a simple, fixed-width Top Menu template with narrow side columns, no footer, new Shopping Basket and Search Field, and excellent compatibility with our new Drop-Down Menus feature (remember that you'll have to join the Drop-Down Menus BETA via our community forum in order to make use of this feature).

Populus works with all logo types, including the new small logo type (as seen above, along with a drop-down menu in action and the new 'Home' icon). It's coded in HTML5 and CSS3, too, which ensures that your site is future-proof.

Narrow side columns mean even more room for your main site content, and the smooth transitions that occur when hovering over menu items gives an air of sleek professionalism.
