Put yourself in your customers' shoes: it's the start of the month and you've decided to scout the internet for bargains - after all, everyone deserves a treat! You stumble across the perfect watch, made just for you, and you immediately click “Add to Basket”.
You then pop straight through to the checkout, only to find the postage cost takes your order to more than you would like.
With a sigh of disappointment you abandon your purchase, hopeful that another website will offer a better postage option.

Alison Hammond designs and sells bohemian jewellery, clothing and accessories, trading online through her website and shop Lockie & Lulu. Today Alison tells us all about her business in the eighth of our customers' Create Stories. (Check out the end of this post to find out about today's fabulous freebie!)
Hi Alison, tell us a bit about Lockie & Lulu.
It's an online store I run to sell my own bohemian style clothing and jewellery pieces. I mostly work with beads to create my jewellery as I love how versatile they can be. They always look great added to bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
My clothing line is fairly new to my business but I am enjoying the freedom it gives me to experiment with different shapes and fabrics. I'm currently designing dresses for my summer collection which will follow on from a number of kimonos I made for Spring.

Proving that less is more, Ebury Home & Garden's website is minimal but eye-catching, thanks in part to the amazing photographs taken by business owner Hannah Gooch.
Today, Hannah tells us about running her business with the help of her Create website, which houses an online shop and portfolio of her styling and photography work. (Pssst... want to refresh your site's wallpaper without getting your hands gloopy? Check out today's freebie at the end of this post!)
Hi Hannah, tell us about your work as Ebury Home & Garden.
I've been a freelance photographic producer and stylist, coordinating and managing photoshoots for people in the wedding and interiors industries for 3 years, having previously planned fashion shoots for John Lewis's own brand collection.
